The Role
We are in search of an experienced program manager with strong analytical, problem-solving and risk management skills. Ability to work efficiently and manage effective relationships in a cross-functional organization to meet commitments for successful customer program launches. Must be self-directed and work in complex and dynamic ecosystems.
The Person
As a Program Manager you will partner with our cross functional teams to manage customer accounts and their portfolio, understand our customers platforms/solutions. Identify and document customer requirements and establish engineering schedules. Drive AMD product solution deliverables and alignment with customers’ platforms to ensure highest level customer satisfaction throughout their product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Drive/Manage program schedule development and execute tactical plans to support Product Development
Program budget planning to support Product development execution
Drive schedule readiness for engineering test solutions to support 1st Si bring-up activities.
Interface & communicate with cross-functional groups for full alignment, reporting and drive improvements
Coordinate to qualify production test solutions for production capacity installation at OSAT
Provide engineering support to production control and OSAT
Lead / participate in teams and task forces to resolve production issues
Manage Product Life Cycle management phase gate review
Preferred Experience
Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering / Computer Engineering, preferably with 7 years of relevant experience or equivalent OR
Experience and effective in Project Management and Program Management
Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
Effective management of revision control and change processes
Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling program
Proficiency in managing multiple tasks simultaneously, adept at adapting to frequent changes and accommodating last-minute requests
General knowledge in IC technologies, fabrication, customer process and application
General understanding of all phases of manufacturing / operations
