Job Description

• Position Title: English Language Instructor
• Working Location: Kay Siang Rd
• Working Hours: 5days (Mon-Fri: 8am – 4pm)
• Salary Package: Basic $2,000 - $3,000 Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare lessons and materials based on students’ English proficiency and learning needs.
• Use interactive methods to help students improve their English skills.
• Include different activities to make learning interesting and effective.
• Assess students regularly to check progress and adjust lessons as needed.
• Give students feedback to help them improve.
• Keep accurate records of students’ progress and achievements.
• Create a welcoming and supportive classroom for all students.
• Help students overcome challenges in learning English for school and daily life.
• Provide extra support or resources for students who need it.
• Work well with other teachers and school staff to support students.
• Update parents or guardians on students’ progress and any concerns.
• Attend training or workshops to improve your teaching skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related area.
• Recognised ESL teaching certification (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or similar).
• Good understanding of how people learn a second language and teaching methods.
• Strong communication, people, and organisational skills.
• Experience working with students from different backgrounds.
• Patience, understanding, and a strong desire to help students succeed.
• Able to adjust teaching methods for different students and groups.
• Comfortable with classroom teaching, in-class support, play duty, and school activities.
• Willing to work flexible hours if needed.
