Job Description

• Position Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
• Working Location: Admiralty
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday (9am – 5pm), Alternate Saturday (9am – 1pm)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Take charge of all quantity surveying duties, including measurement take-offs, monthly progress claims, and subcontract agreement preparation.
• Handle cost estimation and payment processing for subcontractors.
• Manage progress claims, certifications, variation orders, and final account settlements with contractors and suppliers.
• Oversee procurement processes and evaluate quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
• Represent the project team in meetings to align objectives.
• Administer pre-contract and post-contract administration tasks.
• Develop cost planning strategies and implement advanced cost control measures.
• Provide expertise in tender preparation by analyzing costings and drafting tender documents.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to assess and certify completed work for payment.
• Ensure subcontractor claims are verified for accuracy and compliance.

• Minimum Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building Construction or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the builder’s industry.
• Strong knowledge in cost estimation, cost control, and QS practices.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
