Apollo is seeking an Analyst to join their Asia Pacific product team focusing on private credit and fixed income products. Product coverage and involvement will primarily center around Apollo’s growing Fixed Income and credit funds and platforms, as well as expanding the international product expertise for Apollo’s global platforms. The Analyst will have exposure to products across Apollo’s Credit platform.
This person will assist in coordinating new product launches, supporting the growth of various product lines, managing active fundraise processes, keeping the sales team informed of initiatives and developments and presenting marketing opportunities externally.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide key fundraising support for the senior product specialist team
Support fundraising processes in close partnership with Sales teams, such as mapping out key targets for fundraise
Manage product specialist pipelines and monitor fundraising goals and budget for the year
Liaise and communicate with COO team on various timelines, deadlines and product-based KPIs
Create thoughtful follow up for meetings with investors in partnership with Sales, Product Management and Product Specialists
Provide critical client support and follow up through coordination of materials and CRM database management in coordination with the Sales and Product Management Teams
Coordinate deliverables and preparations for meetings for Product Specialists and Investment team members
Develop thorough understanding of Apollo’s product suite
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree with an excellent academic record
Roughly 1-3 years of experience at an investment bank or alternative asset manager
Working knowledge of finance and alternative investments preferred
Strong writing skillset, including ability to synthesize complex financial concepts
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with various groups
Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a genuine willingness and desire to learn
Strong organizational and follow-through skills; ability to manage multiple projects
Capacity to discreetly handle sensitive and confidential information
Driven, strong passion for self-improvement
High integrity and professionalism
Demonstrated strong analytical and quantitative skills
Strong ability to multi-task and pivot between internal facing and external facing responsibilities at various periods of time
Strong analytical capabilities in order to develop product expertise in relevant strategies; ability to engage in detailed investment discussions
