Storeman

Responsibilities:

• Receive, categorize and store incoming supplies systematically
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery, ensuring all items are correctly packed and dispatched on time
• Label, quality check and maintenance of products
• Checks, inspection and administering of new goods received
• Ensure food products are store according to required temperature (dry/cold room)
• Adhering to standard operating procedures to ensure efficient good flow
• Inventory control procedures to ensure accurate inventory count
• Maintaining a clean, organized work area
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Company

Requirements:

• Previous experience in warehouse or similar environment and preferably in a central kitchen environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely
• Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock and orders
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Able to work within tight deadlines
• 6 days work week, 0800hrs to 1700hrs / 1200hrs
