You will oversee the general housekeeping of the lobby and common areas in the Serviced Residence. You will have close collaborations with colleagues from the different departments including Guest Service and Engineering teams to provide a smooth and pleasant stay for all our residents. You will report directly to the Supervisor or Manager, Housekeeping.
Responsibilities:
Cleaning and Sanitizing:
· Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in public areas. Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors. Empty trash bins and replaces liners. Ensure all surfaces are free from dust, dirt, and debris.
Litter Control:
· Regularly patrol public areas to identify and pick up litter. Maintain outdoor spaces, including sidewalks and entryways.
Maintenance:
· Report any maintenance issues or damage observed during cleaning duties. Coordinate with maintenance staff to address repairs or replacements.
Restocking Supplies:
· Monitor and restock supplies such as toiletries, paper towels, and soap in public restrooms. Ensure an adequate supply of cleaning materials is always available.
Customer Service:
· Interact courteously with guests, providing assistance when needed. Respond to guest requests and report any special cleaning requests to the supervisor.
Adherence to Policies and Procedures:
· Follow established cleaning protocols and standards. Adhere to safety guidelines and use proper cleaning equipment and chemicals.
Team Collaboration:
· Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff to ensure a cohesive and efficient cleaning operation. Attend team meetings and training sessions as required.
Flexibility:
· Be flexible in work hours, as public areas may need cleaning at various times throughout the day.
