Main purpose of the job
The Global Procurement Lead for Risk Management designs and implements a comprehensive global procurement risk management framework built on 4 key pillars: People, Platform, Process and Partnership. They support procurement operational excellence, drive continuous improvement, generate strategic data-driven insights, establish tailored KPIs, and manage non-compliance issues. They are responsible for ensuring adherence to governance, policies, and processes, protecting company assets and reputation by following applicable legislation. They advocate sustainable procurement and innovation strategies, contribute to category strategies, and represent procurement in committees. Building strong stakeholder relationships, managing supplier partnerships, and tracking plans and budgets are also part of their role.
Accountabilities And Deliverables
Promote one team spirit between all regions to enable sharing of best practices and knowledge
Support implementation of Global Procurement People strategy and culture, including DEI, employee engagement and well-being
Self-manage adherence to defined governance, policies and processes
Protect all company's assets by putting in place internal control system and procedures
Protect reputation of Asahi by following applicable legislation
Advocate and foster Sustainable Procurement (incl. CSR) and Procurement innovation strategies and projects
Support the complete definition, implementation and successful execution of category strategies
Represent Procurement in relevant committees and governance bodies
Build and enhance strong stakeholder relationships across all agenda specific procurement activities
Develop and maintain strong partnership with suppliers focusing on agenda-specific aspects such as performance and quality assurance
Manage and track agenda specific plans and budgets including objectives, key value drivers and related KPIs
Design and implement global Risk management framework focusing on extended agenda: price volatility, supplier stability, and product or service availability
Support Procurement operational excellence, including its processes and systems
Support continuous improvement of Procurement capabilities and practices in alignment with the overall Asahi strategy and external benchmarks
Create Strategic data driven insights for Procurement
Develop, establish and track KPIs specifically tailored to measure and evaluate the performance of the procurement function

Requirements
Qualification criteria
University degree, preferably in Business related field (master's degree preferred)
Proficiency in English
7 years of professional experience, whereof 3 years in non-commodity Risk Management
International experience from multinational company
Advanced level of MS Office Suite
