Job Description (Key Responsibilities)
Project Planning & Scheduling Develop detailed project plans including scope, timeline, resources, and budget for ACMV systems.
Coordinate with consultants, architects, and clients to finalize system design and execution timelines.
Execution & Supervision Oversee daily operations and progress of ACMV installation and commissioning works.
Ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulations.
Team & Contractor Coordination Lead and manage project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth execution.
Conduct regular site meetings to monitor progress and resolve technical or site issues.
Quality Control & Safety Ensure all ACMV works are executed with high quality and within safety guidelines.
Conduct regular inspections and audits on-site.
Cost Control & Budgeting Monitor project costs and control expenditures to keep the project within budget.
Prepare and review cost reports, forecasts, and billing.
Client & Stakeholder Communication Serve as the main point of contact for clients on all project-related matters.
Provide timely updates and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Documentation & Reporting Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, progress reports, and handover documents.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in ACMV or M&E project management.
Proven track record managing commercial, residential, or industrial ACMV projects.
Technical Skills Strong knowledge of ACMV systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ducting, ventilation systems, etc.
Familiar with local regulations, codes, and standards related to M&E/ACMV works.
Able to read and interpret M&E drawings and technical specifications.
Project Management Skills Excellent planning, coordination, and leadership skills.
Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera).
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Soft Skills Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to make decisions under pressure.
Meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented.
Certifications (Preferred) PMP or relevant project management certification.
Green Mark, LEED, or energy efficiency knowledge is an advantage.
Other Requirements Willing to travel to project sites.
Possess a valid driver’s license (if required).
Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD/BIM is a plus.
