Summary of Job Responsibility:
Provide leadership to the shift team by acting as first point of contact for all matters relating to manufacturing operations on shift. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety on shift. Coordinate daily production requirements in accordance with customer orders and product specifications. Supervise all activities of the shift technicians to ensure they are carried out efficiently and effectively. Take responsibility for training and development of shift technicians. Manage the inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods ensuring stock discrepancies are investigated and corrected where necessary. Ensure all products produced meet the required quality standards. Implement cost reduction initiatives. Participate in Kaizen events to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Qualification/Experience:
Nitec/Higher Nitec or Diploma in any fields. Previous supervisory experience preferred Experience working in a medical device manufacturing environment would be advantageous Good communication skills both written and verbal Ability to work well under pressure and manage tight deadlines Computer literacy – Microsoft Office Fluent English speaker
