Field Service Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide quality service repair, calibrations and preventive maintenance on lab equipment at customer site
• Provide technical consultation to customers and prepare preventive maintenance check list
• To respond to customers’ requests by troubleshooting problems and take corrective actions within targeted timeline
• Able to understand technical drawing/troubleshooting charts
• High level of electrical/electronic troubleshooting down to component level.
• Able to learn and assimilate new technology quickly

REQUIREMENTS and TECHNICAL

• Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of related work experience in service / maintenance within scientific industry
• Having refrigerant knowledge and robotic liquid handling equipment will be of advantage
• Able to work independently and a team player
• Detail oriented , self-starter and coachable
• High Level of troubleshooting attitude and adapt to multi-tasking environment
• Problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, results-oriented individual with good business acumen
