Job Posting for Purchaser at BRC ASIA LIMITED
Responsibilities:
In-charge of purchasing production items including machinery and forklift spare parts
To issue purchase orders
To source, negotiate and manage suppliers to obtain the best terms of purchase and ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials
To monitor inventory levels and place orders to replenish stocks as needed while avoiding excess or insufficient inventory
To coordinate with production, finance and other relevant departments to ensure alignment of procurement activities and services
To maintain comprehensive records of all purchasing activities, including procurement requests, purchase orders and spending analysis
To ensure adherence to quality, environmental and regulatory requirements in the purchasing process.
Any other ad hoc duties or projects as assigned
Requirements:
Diplomain supply chain management or any engineering fields
Minimum 2 years’ experience in procurement
Able to work 5.5 days work week (44 hrs per week)
Excellent communication skills, meticulous, resourceful, able to multi-task
Positive attitude, proactive and self-initiated
A team player with the ability to work independently
