Job Posting for System-of-Systems (SoS) Architect at CAA Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore
The SoSA is a key member of the NexGen Programme Office and plays an important role in the implementation and realisation of the of the Next Generation Air Navigation Services (NexGen ANS) capability.
What you will be working on
You will develop and maintain the SoS Architecture and have oversight of the NexGen ANS Programme to align system/enterprise architecture blueprints, ensuring coherency and interoperability of architectures and technical master plans, while balancing the needs of the stakeholders. As such, you are expected to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to prescribe architectural descriptions, guidelines, and recommend best practices for openness, interoperability, and resiliency at SoS level.
What we are looking for
Trained in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field
More than 5 years of relevant experience in system engineering or a related field
Good understanding of enterprise architecture methodologies, tools and modelling languages
Good understanding of the government ICT polices and standards, cloud and technology stack
Excellent written and presentation skills
Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills to influence and drive win-win outcomes with stakeholders
Prior experience in system design, architecting, hybrid cloud architecture, micro-service, system integration will be an advantage
Familiarity with Air Traffic Management, Communications/Navigation/Surveillance systems and aviation safety will be an advantage
Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
