Job Description:
● Responsible for purchasing & Storeman function
● Prepare and issue POs to suppliers on a timely basis
● Independently interface with project team members to review purchase requirements and specifications.
● Processing of PO, Change Order as well as tracking of deliveries.
● Ensure that goods and services performed and delivered are in accordance with the issued POs
● Work with supplier on order requirements and delivery schedules
● Work as a team with other departments to ensure orders are delivered on time
● Source for alternative suppliers / vendors / subcontractors
Storeman duties:
● Receive, store and track incoming & outgoing items.
● Ensure the stocks are stored in compliance with safety standards and industry best practices
● Maintain accurate inventory records, tracking stock levels as required
● Moving goods using a manual palette stackers
● Package items and label correctly
● Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors
● Perform general administrative and data entry duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
● Possess at least a GCE ‘O’ Level / Higher Nitec / Diploma or equivalent
● Minimum 1 year prior experience in storekeeping role is advantage
● Proficient in MS Office applications
● Possess good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
● A team player with a sense of priority, organized and meticulous
● Positive attitude, self-driven, proactive, able to work independently, and hardworking
● Possess initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
● Must be physically fit
● Able to operate pallet jacks
