HR Executive | Fine Dining Cantonese Restaurant

Working Hours: 9am to 6pm

About the Role
This position is based in a small office located within our upscale Cantonese restaurant. While your core responsibilities lie in Finance and HR administration, you may occasionally be asked to assist with guest reception at the front-of-house during peak periods to ensure seamless service quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage financial records, including accounts payable and receivable
• Handle payroll processing and ensure timely, accurate salary disbursements
• Monitor daily expenses and manage financial transactions
• Handle end-to-end recruitment: job postings, screening, and interview coordination
• Maintain employee records, contracts, work passes, and leave applications
• Process staff benefits, claims, and performance appraisal support
• Ensure compliance with Singapore employment laws, MOM regulations, and company policies
• Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook
• Oversee general office administration including procurement and vendor liaison
• Support employee engagement and workplace safety initiatives
• Occasionally assist the front-of-house team in welcoming guests during peak service times

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Finance/HR administration, preferably in F&B or retail
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) and payroll systems
• Good understanding of CPF, tax, and employment regulations in Singapore
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Able to work independently and manage confidential information professionally
• A proactive team player with a service-oriented mindset
