NUS Centre for Future-ready Graduates (CFG) adopts a multipronged, student-centric approach to help them make sense of their strengths, refine their skills and demonstrate their value to employers. Serving the entire spectrum of students from undergraduates to post-graduates, CFG offers more than 15 unit-bearing courses in collaboration with academic and industry partners. About The Role
Reporting to the Head of Global Programmes, you will work on developing and managing global careers programmes, and initiatives for NUS students to acquire critical life skills which include Interpersonal & Collaboration Skills, Global Perspectives, as well as Communication & Engagement Skills to develop highly employable graduates who thrive in an evolving world of work and are resilient amidst volatility.


Duties & Responsibilities
  • Overseas Internship and Job Opportunities
  • Actively prospect and expand the repertoire of overseas internship and job opportunities
  • Manage the NUS Global Internship Programme for continued growth trajectory and expansion of markets
  • Overseas Exposure Programmes
  • Lead and conduct the Global Industry Insights course and other overseas study trips/programmes that help students develop professional competencies
  • Manage student programme matters, including publicity, enrolment, pre-trip briefings and programme evaluation
  • Strategy, Partnership & Management
  • Develop and implement strategies and action plans aligned with Universities’ priorities on students’ global exposure
  • Conduct action research and generate insights on emerging economies and industry trends
  • Manage, liaise, and coordinate with partners including overseas-based companies/alumni, government & trade associations, other NUS departments, service providers and vendors
  • Develop and review policies and standard operating procedures (e.g. risk management)
  • Other projects and administrative duties as assigned, according to the needs of the University and CFG, where required
Qualifications

- Degree holder with at least 3 years of relevant work experience. Candidates with more years of relevant work experience will be considered for senior roles
  • Good understanding of global and local hiring/employment trends
  • Proven track record in international partnership cultivation or managing global careers programmes will be a strong advantage
  • Prior experience in curriculum design & administration would be a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage stakeholders across different business levels. Strong overseas network and/or fluency in ASEAN languages (e.g. Bahasa Indonesia, Thai and Vietnamese) would be an added advantage
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, coupled with professional discretion
  • Resilient and adaptable, with ability to work independently and collaboratively with partners and colleagues to manage change and achieve goals
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Applications (especially Powerpoint and Excel) is required
  • Business travel is expected (20-30%), especially to ASEAN, China and India region(s)
  • Occasional evening and weekend work may be required
