Position Summary

The LSEG Oil Research team provides market insight and analysis and to clients interested in the crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals sectors through assessment of global supply and demand, trade flows, infrastructure outages, derivatives markets and other trade-relevant activities.

We are currently seeking an individual under the student internship programme, who will based in Singapore.

This is an excellent opportunity to join on internship a dynamic Research team to develop new methodologies, quantitative models and analysis that directly create client impact!

Role Responsibilities

LSEG Oil Research is seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our Oil Research team, where they will play a key role in driving innovation and efficiency through the development of IT-based processes and automation projects. This exciting opportunity will also involve collaborating on various improvement initiatives, allowing the candidate to demonstrate and apply analytical and technical skills.

The successful candidate will assist in the development of supply and demand models, designed to empower clients with enhanced analytics capabilities. By harnessing data-driven insights, these models will enable clients to make more informed decisions and stay ahead in the market.

The individual will be required to have a deeper understanding of the oil flows model, and will seek new ways to ensure accurate database entry, while facilitating the seamless transmission of datasets. The streamlining of these processes ensures the timely delivery of critical information to clients.

The role also encompasses providing administrative support, allowing the candidate to develop a broad range of skills and gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
