The Head of Transformation will lead global transformation and corporate development at CHARLES & KEITH GROUP, playing a pivotal role in shaping, architecting, and delivering the next phase of innovation and growth. This role is responsible for driving business transformation, process re-engineering and leadership development to accelerate growth, efficiency and innovation for the organisation. By executing strategic initiatives that reshape the organisation’s structure, culture and operational effectiveness, the Head of Transformation ensures the organisation remains competitive and future-ready.
As the evangelist of change, the incumbent will be the role model for change, inspiring team members of all levels to cultivate and embrace new behaviours to excel and be more efficient in their roles. Humanizing technology, this role is key in leading collaborations and building meaningful connections among people, processes, data, standards, technology and culture. The incumbent will be responsible for leading and coaching managers in devising approaches, processes and decisions to achieve the overall long-range organization vision and mission, as well as achieving short to mid-term individual and departmental goals. It is imperative for the incumbent to drive the senior leadership team to be accountable and responsible for the development, addressing the setbacks, and transformation works required to effect evolution and achieve the desired change outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
Organisational Transformation
- Design and execute new organisational structures, operating models, and capabilities to enable strategic priorities, ensuring alignment with both current and future growth
- Lead teams and business units to implement transformation across functions including merchandising, customer experience, supply chain, sustainability, talent development, and other key priority areas
- Hone the skillsets and competencies of leaders and managers to coach, mentor, and manage business, team performance, and individual successes
- Communicate the transformation vision and keep senior leaders, employees, and relevant stakeholders abreast with the progress to inspire them with the change outcomes
- Develop initiatives to improve Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) and overall workplace satisfaction
- Implement leadership development and training programs to enhance company-wide alignment
- Establish frameworks for internal communication that foster transparency, engagement, and a strong corporate culture
Operational & Process Excellence
- Streamline business operations by leveraging process automation and digital transformation to enhance efficiency and reduce manual workload, improving network optimization for enhanced distribution effectiveness and driving cost-saving initiatives
- Eliminate inefficiencies, streamline key processes and enhance agility by improving workflows, identifying technological solutions that reduce manual effort through technology adoption
- Achieve inventory management excellence by establishing a flexible, agile supply chain with innovative process reinventions, ensuring smooth communication between HQ and local BUs
Strategic Development & Growth
- Drive corporate development and expansion efforts by identifying new revenue streams, M&A opportunities, and business model innovations
- Stay ahead of fashion, retail, and technology trends to maintain market leadership and enhance the company's competitive edge
- Institutionalize governance and reporting by developing clear KPIs, OKRs, and transformation roadmaps for ongoing measurement, while establishing reporting dashboards to track performance and ensure accountability
Requirements
- 10 years of overall consulting experience in fashion, technology, ECommerce, and FMCG
- Experience developing and executing multi-year strategic roadmaps, with strong strategic and analytical skills, including the ability to create and implement retail strategies that enhance performance and customer satisfaction
- Strong leadership abilities and stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Experience leveraging digital technologies to enable business model evolution
- Proven track record in delivering successful, enterprise-wide change initiatives
- Comfortable operating in a matrix environment with ambiguity
