Procurement & Compliance Executive

This position reports to the Procurement and Corporate Affairs Manager, and interfaces with company management. This position is responsible for the Procurement Department of Creative Eateries Group.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

● Ensure all procurement activities comply with Halal standards and regulations, including sourcing Halal-certified products and services

● Manage Halal certificates, supplier documentation, and records to maintain compliance with external HalMQ system requirements

● Conduct regular Halal site inspections, audits, and reporting to enforce SOPs, ensure compliance, and implement corrective action plans

● Collaborate with the Halal Team Leader on Halal licensing applications and internal HalMQ system compliance

● Source raw materials and end products while ensuring adherence to ISO 22000:2018, Halal, and sustainability standards

● Coordinate purchasing activities, supplier account setup, inventory movement, order fulfillment, and logistics coordination for outlets

● Liaise with operations, chefs, suppliers, and accounts to optimize procurement efficiency and maintain strong business relationships

● Conduct supply tenders to secure cost-effective and advantageous contracts for goods and services

● Support ad-hoc supply chain activities as needed to enhance business operations


REQUIREMENTS

● Candidate with a certification in Halal competency is a plus

● Diploma in business or supply chain related discipline

● Familiar with Microsoft Office

● Detail-Oriented with strong organizational skills

● Openness to learning and improving in the role

● Ability to work independently and in a team
