Chef de Partie

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook high-quality café dishes, with a focus on seasonal ingredients and sustainable food practices.
• Contribute ideas for new menu items, emphasizing sustainable and eco-friendly ingredients.
• Prepare mise-en-place to ensure smooth daily kitchen operations.
• Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop and refine the café menu, balancing flavor and sustainability.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared and plated according to restaurant standards, with attention to both taste and presentation.
• Monitor inventory, ensuring proper storage, rotation, and minimal waste of ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely service.
• Support the management of kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues or needed repairs.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role, preferably in a café or casual dining environment.
• Experience in pre-opening is a plus.
• A passion for sustainability, with a commitment to reducing food waste.
• A teachable heart and willingness to learn and grow in a team environment.
