Construction Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager with a strong background in MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) construction to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have 10 years and above of experience in MRT construction projects and possess exceptional leadership and communication skills. Key responsibilities are as follows.

• Oversee and manage all phases of MRT construction projects from inception to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management and clients.
• Mentor and lead a team of project managers, engineers, and support staff.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
  
  

The ideal candidate should possess the following.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or related field/s, recognized by PEB Board or acceptable by the Commissioner of Building Control.
• Masters' degree in a related field are an advantage as well.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in MRT construction projects.
• Proven track record of success in managing large-scale MRT projects.
• Strong knowledge of MRT construction methodologies, processes and best practices.
• Excellent command of English language, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational and problem solving skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Candidates possessing PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
• Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents are highly preferred.
