About The Role

In this role based in Singapore, you will report to the Global Product Cost Finance Senior Manager and support the Dyson Global Supply Chain team with financial analysis and insight that supports the delivery of the Supply Chain Operations’ strategic objectives; we play a key part in Dyson overall success.

The role assumes active engagement in senior management decision-making processes including attendance at senior management meetings and insights-based advisory during key decision-making moments; by providing data-based insights, summarising financial models and presenting potential scenarios.

The focus is to drive savings initiatives and bring out the story behind the numbers and providing insights that inform decision-making around costs and supply to ensure we optimize the use of our financial resources and continue to improve profitability.

Core Accountabilities

• Support DDU Transformation Actual cost views for executive reviews and drive further opportunities
• Procurement Hub Billing and Analytics support
• Manage GCP exceptions - Budget baseline adjustment, SKU activation analysis
• GCP vs SAP reconciliation, including monthly intercogs reclassification
• Month-end journal preparation and posting
• Support on DDU Cost Dashboard development and costing analytics projects
  
  
  

About You

• Full/Part Qualified Accountant or equivalent post graduate qualification with experience in financial planning, analysis and/or strategy.
• Experience in rigorous financial analysis and comfortable with large database
• Excellent analytical ability and Excel spreadsheet skills
• Ability to understand concepts and ideas quickly and model data in meaningful ways
• Naturally Inquisitive - comfortable and willing to interrogate existing systems with large amounts of data for answers but accepts that not every query has an exact answer
• Proactive in proposing ideas to challenge status quo
• Assertive and able to influence upwards and peers
• Good spoken & written English
• Has strong sense of operational discipline and ability to meet deadlines
• PowerBI dashboard creating experience a plus
