Job Summary


The Finance Manager/ Assistant Manager at our Recruitment and Remittance Agency and also in charge some of the Group Consolidated account will oversee the financial health of the organization by managing financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting. This role includes ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, optimizing financial processes, and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.


Key Responsibilities

Financial Management:

  • Oversee the financial operations of the agency, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Prepare and present financial statements, reports, and forecasts to senior management.
  • Manage cash flow, investments, and financial risk to ensure the agency's financial stability.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, including preparing, analyzing, and monitoring budgets.
  • Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis and recommendations for corrective actions.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including tax and audit requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.
  • Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and ensure the agency's practices align with current laws.

Financial Analysis:

  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial data and analysis.
  • Support business units with financial analysis and guidance on projects, investments, and cost control measures.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting professional development and a high-performance culture.
  • Coordinate and oversee the work of financial analysts, accountants, and other finance professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment within the finance department.

Required Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree or CPA is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role, preferably in a recruitment or financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in financial management software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of financial risk management and investment strategies.
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
