Job Posting for Manager (Home Care) at ECON HEALTHCARE (ASIA) LIMITED
The jobholder is responsible for the effective and efficient running of the Home Care Department. He/She is also responsible to ensure that all home care staff provide a patient-centric, personalised, specialised and compassionate care to home care clients’ needs, in accordance with established policies and procedures, standards of nursing care and practices.
Business Operations and Leadership
Play a leading role as a resource person in an effective way of managing the home care business
Lead and manage the day to-day operations of the home care department
Responsible to achieve the set targets in meeting the profitability of the department
Handle home care enquiries and provide financial counselling when necessary
Work with marketing team to increase and implement marketing strategies to meet overall sales objectives of home care services
Review existing and develop new home care policies, standard operating procedures and service agreement as and when the need arise
Maintain an effective home care operations by initiating, reviewing and implementing standard operating procedures and policies
Maintain documentation of client care services and records
Evaluate the effective and efficient use of consumables and supplies
Maintain and upkeep a proper inventory control with regular inspection and audits
Responsible to prepare for periodic regulatory audit when it’s due
Manpower Management and Development
Lead and manage a team of care staff in terms of their deployment
Work closely with nursing training to develop their competency for ongoing update of their skills and knowledge which leads to professional career progression
Plan proper scheduling for care staff based skill mix and competencies to fulfill client’s requirements and needs
Facilitate in staff engagement and wellness to keep them motivated and engaged
Clinical Role & Clinical Quality
Conduct assessment of new and existing clients to facilitate in developing the plan of care
Perform nursing procedures as per request
Work closely with Chief Nurse to ensure the clinical quality standards are disseminated and adhered to including compliance to nursing, infection control, safety requirements and regulations and practices
Department Operations
Collaborate with other related departments to ensure smooth operational flow of the Home Care business
Sustain strong engagements with clients and manage schedule of homecare services
Feedback Management
Investigate and resolve all feedback and complaints received from all clients or regulatory body
Assist in any investigation that is escalated to Chief Nurse
Escalate any favourable, unfavourable and unresolved feedback to Chief Nurse
Other Duties
Assume any other additional responsibilities as assigned by Chief Nurse
Work with Chief Nurse to perform staff annual appraisal
Provide timely submissions of appropriate report to the respective departments
Maintain good communication and engagement with clients and sponsors
Requirements:
Possess a Bachelor Degree in related field and/or Degree or Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Nursing will be an added advantage
State Registered Nurse with valid practicing license issued by the Singapore Nursing Board.
Valid certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
At least 8 years’ experience in management of department and have provide supervision to a team of subordinates.
Strong clinical skills including understanding on health care system
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate relationships amongst key stakeholders
Service-oriented, meticulous, resourceful, independent and team player
Possess positive work attitude, initiative and responsible to complete tasks and projects
Analytical thinking, decision-making and good problem-solving skills
