Chinese Preschool Educator

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum in Mandarin aligned with NEL (Nurturing Early Learners) framework.
• Conduct engaging and meaningful Chinese language lessons to promote literacy and love for the Chinese culture.
• Create a secure, caring, and stimulating environment that supports children's learning and development.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Observe, document, and assess children's progress, providing timely feedback to parents and the teaching team.
• Ensure compliance with ECDA licensing and safety standards.
• Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development sessions.

Requirements

• Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education – Teaching (Chinese) or equivalent ECDA-recognised qualification.
• ECDA L2 certification for Chinese Language Teaching is required.
• Proficient in written and spoken Mandarin (to deliver Chinese curriculum effectively).
• Passionate about nurturing young children and instilling Chinese language and culture.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
