Therapy Assistant

Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Patient Support

• Assist therapists during patient therapy sessions and exercises
• Prepare therapy areas and equipment before patient use
• Supervise patients using therapy equipment or performing activities
• Support group therapy sessions under the therapist’s supervision
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the therapy environment
• Help coordinate and escort patients to therapy sessions if needed
• Oversee healthcare attendants in the rehabilitation area

Administrative & Operational Tasks

• Check and manage inventory of supplies, forms, and equipment
• Handle photocopying, filing, document distribution, and basic data entry
• Help maintain therapeutic equipment and tools
• Assist in onboarding and guiding new therapy assistants
• Respond to phone calls, handle inquiries, and pass on messages

Requirements

• Minimum GCE ‘N’ Level qualification
• Patient-centered with a strong service mindset
• Good communication and teamwork skills
