The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role plays a crucial part in the financial health of the organization.
Key Accountabilities - including but not limited to:
Oversee and manage the full accounting cycle
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank statements
Assist in preparation for audits and liaising with external auditors
Assist in tax compliance and reporting
Contribute to process improvement initiatives in the finance department
Working Relationships
Internal: Collaborate with various teams including finance, operations, and management
External: Liaise with auditors and tax agents
Business partner with subsidiary finance team to ensure the reporting submission on time and accurate, comply with accounting standard and etc.
Review the number and reporting pack submitted by subsidiaries.
Involve in consolidation closing process such as preparing note to account of the group/consolidation report, group journal, review and eliminate intercompany transaction, proofing and etc.
Oversee and manage the full accounting cycle of corporate entities including close monthly account, preparation of audit schedule, conduct monthly bank reconciliation and etc.
Support all audit and tax related matters including attend to audit and tax queries and provide information required.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives in the finance department.
Other ad-hoc task.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Experience with ERP accounting software preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
