Eurazeo is looking for 2 full-time venture interns for the period of May/June 2025 – Dec 2025, each covering different mandates:
Working within a fund launched in 2022 looking at early growth stage (series B/C) opportunities in the insurtech/fintech sector in Southeast Asia and India
Working within a fund investing in early stage opportunities in climate and sustainability, including energy/mobility/logistics/built environment/industrial technology sectors with a global mandate
What you will be doing
Part I - Screening
Assist in the sourcing of new investment opportunities and lead initial screening of startups
Meet entrepreneurs with the team
Attend startup events to gather info on startups, sectors and new trends
Researching topics to help the team build a thesis on industries & trends
Part II - Due Diligence
Participate in due diligence meetings, reference calls, product and technical due diligence
Perform competitive landscape research, market sizing, business plan modelling
Assist in drafting of investment memorandums
Part III - Support
Deep dive on industry/market trends
Organize events and build content to promote the fund and Eurazeo in the SE Asia ecosystem
Build and enhance internal processes
Who we are looking for:
A genuine interest in technology & entrepreneurship. You don't need to be an expert, but we would expect you to show demonstrated interest in new technologies and companies
At least 1 internship / work experience in a challenging field. We're open to all industries and positions - what we're looking for is someone who has had meaningful responsibilities. Experience in a start-up / scale-up, in finance, investment or in consulting roles are a plus
Previous exposure to the SE Asia ecosystem. Ideally you have already spent some time in the SEA ecosystem be it as a student or through some first work experiences
Proven rigor & analytical skills. Strong critical thinking and ability to communicate your perspective. Understanding of how to read/analyse financial statements and business plans. Experience in financial modelling would be a plus
Curious & open-minded. You will meet new people, new businesses and new industries every day. So wanting to learn more about things you know nothing about is an absolute necessity
Self-initiated & organized. You will need to juggle different tasks with different team members and projects, be able to prioritize your work and be proactive in leveraging the team
Detail-oriented. & meticulous
Team player. You will be working closely with your respective team members, and it is important that you can communicate well with your team and actively contribute in order to meet goals and timelines set
