Job Description
Perform quantity take-offs, prepare the Bill of Quantities, and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to suppliers and subcontractors.
Evaluate quotations from suppliers/subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and project scope.
Compile quotations, create summary tables or spreadsheets, and present cost analysis to management.
Prepare tender submission documents such as Scope of Requirements (SOR), Price Schedules, Technical Write-ups, Technical Data Schedules, Organization Charts, and CVs.
Communicate with clients by raising tender queries and addressing clarification questions.
Develop tender interviews, presentation slides, and related project documents, including quotations and letters to main contractors.
Execute and manage main and sub-contracts, ensuring compliance with contract terms and building regulations.
Administer contracts for clients, main contractors, consultants, sub-contractors, and suppliers, and formulate contractual responses as needed.
Participate in discussions with clients and subcontractors, negotiate scopes and pricing, and track follow-up meetings.
Prepare and issue contracts, monthly progress claims, and payment responses to subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
Monitor and analyze project costs to ensure alignment with objectives and building contract law, while enhancing overall value through cost-reduction strategies.
Prepare cost analysis, cash flow submissions, and monthly financial reports to maintain effective project oversight.
Draft and review agreements, including Joint Venture Agreements, Consortium Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements, Pre-bid Agreements, and Subcontract/Supply Agreements for awarded projects.
Support tender submissions and execute other tasks as delegated by superiors.
Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (Engineering background preferred).
1 to 2 years of relevant experience in Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) projects is highly preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Strong analytical skills with a good aptitude for numbers.
