WHAT TO EXPECT


​Your role is pivotal in ensuring our representatives meet the fit and proper standards under the Representative Notification Framework (RNF). You will handle thorough checks, manage timelines effectively, and prepare essential documents for onboarding and offboarding processes. To be successful in this role, you should be someone who is proactive and has strong organisational skills!


WHAT YOU’LL DO


Fit & Proper assessment under the Representative Notification Framework (RNF):

  • Conducting background checks & fit and proper assessment on each candidate
  • Making recommendations on the suitability of each candidate
  • Flagging out adverse findings and escalating of case for further evaluation
  • Liaise with Compliance Team and various key management stakeholders to facilitate the licensing process and address any issues or concerns that may arise
  • Ensure completeness of documentation for each candidate. To liaise with candidates, hiring manager and internal stakeholders on all matters relating to the recruitment of the candidate
  • Ensuring that these policies are communicated effectively to all relevant stakeholders
  • Provide regular statistics & report to Management and Distribution Channels related to candidate and appointment of representatives
  • Conduct periodic declarations and checks on existing financial consultants
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of onboarding and assessment processes.


Be involved in the daily operations of the Distribution Support function such as:

  • Representatives’ resignation process
  • Reference check request
  • Handles audit request related to fit and proper assessment
  • Regular review of process to streamline and ensure relevancy
  • Any other projects or tasks as assigned


WHO YOU ARE


  • At least 3 years experience in Distribution Support, particularly in MAS Representative Notification Framework
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure and remain agile in a fast-paced environment
  • Meticulous with a keen eye for detail
  • Resourceful and a strong team player
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
