Cashier - Retail Apparel

Job Summary: As a Cashier at the leading apparel retail chain, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service while accurately processing transactions. You will be responsible for handling cash, credit, and debit transactions, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Location: Jurong Point

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Address any inquiries or concerns to enhance their shopping experience.
• Transaction Processing: Accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Sales Support: Assist customers with purchases, returns, and exchanges, providing information on promotions and store policies.
• Cash Management: Maintain an organized and balanced cash drawer, perform cash reconciliations, and report discrepancies to management.
• Store Operations: Help with restocking merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, and organizing displays as needed.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team members to achieve store goals and enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
