Risk Operations Analyst

We are looking for a Risk Operations Analyst to join our team in Singapore. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of trading operations by actively monitoring trades, identifying risks and resolving issues in real time. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, tech-savvy and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where milliseconds matter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Real-time trade monitoring to detect anomalies, operational risks and compliance breaches.
• Investigate, escalate and resolve trading issues efficiently to minimize disruptions.
• Work closely with traders, developers and risk managers to enhance operational workflows.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal risk policies.
• Develop and optimize risk monitoring tools using Python and SQL for automation and analysis.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a university (Computer Science/Electrical/Mathematics/Finance, or related fields preferred).
• An added advantage would be 2 years of experience in risk operations, trading operations, or compliance.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL for data analysis and automation.
• Understanding of financial markets, trading strategies and risk management principles would be a plus.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions in a real-time trading environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
