Job Description
Carry out duties as specified by WSH Act.
Assist in the implementation of the EHS management system
Ensure all site activities are carried out in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
Carry out daily WSH inspections including machinery, equipment, plant, and installation.
Functions as the Site EHS Assessor in the verification of hazardous works.
Conduct EHS induction courses for new employees and contractors.
Ensure that Risk Assessment and Safe Work Procedures are brief to workers and sub-contractor.
Identify WSH hazards and implement control measures.
Preparation of monthly WSH reports Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedures and Permit to works submission in accordance with Main Contractor requirements.
Ensure workers and sub-contractors comply with EHS Management System & applicable legal requirements.
Maintain and monitor EHS records/ checklists.
Participate and facilitate Internal/External audits.
Investigate and report WSH all incidents & near misses.
Conduct WSH and other related training.
Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Project Manager and Management.
Requirements
WSQ advance certificate in WSH with Refresher course
WAH assessor certificate.
Risk management course.
Responsible and with a good attitude.
A team player with and ability to work independently.
