Duties And Responsibilities
Responsible for implementing and maintaining the organisation's WSH procedures to promote a safe work environment.
Conducts incident investigations and identifies cases of non-compliance with organisational procedures and legal WSH requirements.
Evaluates risks associated with the hazards identified in the workplace and reports progress of corrective and preventive actions undertaken within nominated areas.
Perform safety audits and inspection of work sites to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance.
Identify and recommend best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices.
Provide technical advice, coaching, guidance and mentoring to the WSH team on safety initiatives and necessary changes.
Coordinate and correspond with external agencies, MOM, SCDF, etc. on WSH related issues/matters.
Requirements
Minimum Specialist Diploma in WSH.
Minimum 3 years’ WSHO experience.
Experience in the implementation of OHSAS 18001 or ISO 14001.
Familiar with the safety, health and environmental legislations as well as risk management procedure.
Previous experience in LTA - MRT projects preferred.
Good Communication skills and interpersonal skills.
