Job Responsibilities:
SAP EWM Implementation & Support:
Lead or contribute to end-to-end (E2E) implementation and ongoing support of SAP EWM solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and are fully integrated with other SAP modules.
Provide hands-on support for day-to-day operations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth execution of warehouse management processes.
Design & Configuration of SAP EWM:
Design and configure SAP EWM functionalities including warehouse structure (plants, storage locations, and bins), handling units, pick and pack strategies, and more.
Configure and optimize delivery processing, goods receipt (GR), goods issue (GI), and warehouse order creation rules to streamline warehouse operations.
Integration with Other SAP Modules:
Lead the integration of SAP EWM with other core SAP modules, including MM (Material Management), SD (Sales & Distribution), and PP (Production Planning), ensuring seamless data flow across the system.
Warehouse Process Optimization:
Continuously analyze and improve warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and resource management to enhance efficiency.
Design and implement strategies for optimized warehouse performance, utilizing EWM features such as Wave Management, Cross-Docking, and Resource Management.
Custom Development & Enhancements:
Develop and support custom solutions, enhancements, and reports tailored to specific business requirements.
Testing & System Validation:
Lead or assist with unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT) of SAP EWM solutions, ensuring proper functionality and integration.
Ensure all system changes are thoroughly tested and validated before going live.
Training & Knowledge Transfer:
Provide training to end-users and internal stakeholders on the use of SAP EWM processes, functionality, and best practices.
Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions for new team members or junior consultants to ensure continuity and best practice adoption.
Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution:
Address and resolve any warehouse-related issues within SAP EWM, whether they are related to system configurations, integration points, or user errors.
Work with the technical team to resolve system errors, optimize configurations, and ensure stable operations.
Documentation & Process Compliance:
Document all SAP EWM configurations, custom developments, and enhancements to ensure compliance with internal standards and external audits.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP EWM updates, new features, and best practices. Implement relevant improvements to enhance warehouse management processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvements and work on automation and optimization solutions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
5 years of experience in SAP eWM.
Minimum of 2 implementation or Support experience in SAP eWM.
Functional / technical proficiency in designing, configuring, and implementing SAP eWM.
Experience in integration of eWM with other modules like MM, SD, PP.
Hands on experience in Configuration of Enterprise structure by defining plants, storage locations, warehouse structure, delivery processing, GR/GI, putaway, handling units, storage types, storage sections, bins, strategy, warehouse order creation rules, resource management
