Superintendent

1. Site Supervision & Coordination

• Oversee daily construction activities on site
• Coordinate workers, subcontractors, and deliveries
• Monitor site progress and ensure productivity

2. Scheduling

• Implement the construction schedule set by the Project Manager
• Ensure each phase is completed on time
• Adjust day-to-day plans based on weather, delays, or material issues

3. Quality Control

• Inspect work to ensure it meets plans, specifications, and codes
• Identify and correct any work that doesn’t meet standards
• Work closely with engineers and architects if changes are needed

4. Safety Management

• Enforce safety protocols (PPE, scaffolding, machinery use, etc.)
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings
• Report and document any accidents or incidents

5. Problem Solving

• Handle issues like late deliveries, labor shortages, or design conflicts
• Make quick, informed decisions to keep the project moving

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Keep site logs and daily reports (work done, manpower, weather, etc.)
• Track material usage and equipment on site
• Report progress and site issues to the Project Manager or Head Office

7. Team Leadership

• Supervise foremen, skilled trades, and laborers
• Motivate the team and manage site discipline
• Provide training or guidance if needed

8. Liaison Role

• Act as the communication bridge between office and site
• Coordinate with clients, inspectors, consultants, and suppliers
• Ensure instructions from head office are executed correctly
