Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor - for a bespoke ID Design and Renovation Company

Location: Lavendar

Job Summary:

• Conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time and labour costs.
• Preparing, negotiating and analysing costs for tenders and contracts, coordinating of work effort, advising on a range of legal and contractual issues.
• Valuing completed work and arranging for payments

Specific Responsibilities:

Individual to be involved in:

• Assist the designer in reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements
• Analyse costs for maintenance and additional building needs and then negotiate with contractors and subcontractors
• Maintain proper documentation for all tenders
• Sourcing of quotations and evaluate quotations received from suppliers and sub- contractors.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma/Degree in relevant studies
• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in commercial / office project is a must
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
