Overview:
Icon is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Manager to support group-level finance activities and lead the financial management of key entities in Singapore. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys cross-border coordination, and can take ownership of accounting, tax, treasury, and corporate secretarial responsibilities across the group.
You will work closely with our group finance leadership, external advisors, and regional finance team members (including accountants handling subsidiary-level tasks) to ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and financial control across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Group-Level Finance Coordination
• Coordinate group-wide finance matters, supporting alignment and consistency across regions, particularly between Singapore, Japan, and other key locations.
• Act as a key point of contact between group finance and local finance/accounting personnel managing subsidiaries.
• Support the consolidation of financial data for group reporting and MIS, working with internal stakeholders and external accountants as needed.
Entity Management – Singapore
• Lead the financial management of selected Singapore-based legal entities, ensuring full compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate requirements.
• Oversee monthly closings, statutory accounts preparation, tax filings (e.g. GST, corporate income tax), and liaise with auditors and tax agents.
• Ensure treasury activities are well-managed, including cash flow planning, banking relationships, and inter-company transactions.
Corporate Secretarial & Regulatory Compliance
• Coordinate corporate secretarial matters for group entities, working closely with external company secretaries and legal advisors.
• Ensure timely filings, maintenance of statutory registers, and compliance with regulatory obligations in Singapore and other relevant jurisdictions.
• Support ongoing governance requirements, including board resolutions, shareholder meetings, and regulatory audits.
Minimum Requirements:
• Right to work in Singapore
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in finance, accounting, tax, or treasury functions, preferably with exposure to regional coordination or group-level responsibilities.
• Solid understanding of Singapore statutory and tax requirements; experience with cross-border entities is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work across different time zones and cultures.
• Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to operate independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; prior experience in a multi-entity setup is a plus.
