Civil Engineering

Job Description:

• Perform Civil/Structure engineering design works
• Liaise with Clients, Consultants and Authorities for management of project
• Responsible for on-site technical / engineering / administrative matters
• Involve in project planning, implementation, and close monitoring of projects
• Review the relevant standards and test requirements before commencement of the jobs
• Organize and provide staffing, equipment and materials for testing
• Manage and minimize operations costs (e.g. manpower, maintenance of equipment, overtime, etc)
• Recommend or propose solutions for new testing scope requested by stakeholders for management decision making
• Manage and supervise the administration works
• Check and ensure the completed test reports are signed by authorized approved signatory
• Review and update the test standard to the latest version (e.g., yearly)
• Ensure invoices are sent to the client on time and accurate
• Respond to the client for testing and technical enquiry
• Monitor, track and close any non-compliance cases
• Plan and manage maintenance and calibration of testing machine and equipment to ensure availability and reliability
• Schedule and send Lab equipment / machine for calibration
• Maintenance schedule for the machine and equipment
• Liaise with vendors for repairing of machine / equipment

Requirements:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering
• 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in Construction, Marine, Process and Engineering Sector
• Self-motivated, able to multitask
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to liaise with all levels of people
• Good knowledge of local industry
• Relevant experience in design of Buildings, Civil and Infrastructure works
• Willing to travel / work in Jurong / Jurong Island / Bukom Island
