Victus/Jaxs PTE is a leading school catering company providing fresh, nutritious meals to students across Singapore. We are expanding our team and looking for a passionate and creative Café Cook to join a café in Bukit Merah/Depot Road.

Role Overview

As a Café Cook, you will specialize in handmade sandwiches, pastries, and light café-style dishes. You will work closely with the café team to ensure high-quality food, smooth service, and a welcoming environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities

1. Food Preparation & Cooking

🥪 Prepare fresh sandwiches, wraps, and salads daily.
🥐 Assist in baking simple pastries, muffins, and cakes for the café.
🔥 Ensure food presentation and quality meet company standards.

2. Kitchen & Café Operations

✅ Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in the café kitchen.
✅ Support café service by ensuring food is replenished on time.
✅ Follow portion control and minimize food wastage.

3. Stock & Inventory Support

📦 Monitor ingredient levels and inform supervisors for restocking.
📦 Assist in receiving and storing supplies properly.

4. Customer Service & Teamwork

👨‍🍳 Work as part of a team to provide excellent service.
👨‍🍳 Occasionally assist with simple barista duties if required.

Work Location

📍 Bukit Merah/Depot Road
⚠️ Note: This kitchen is not Halal-certified, but strictly no pork/lard is used, and most ingredients are Halal.

Job Requirements

✔️ At least 1 year of experience in a café, bakery, catering, or kitchen environment.
✔️ Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sandwich/pastry preparation.
✔️ Passion for fresh, quality ingredients and creating great food.
✔️ Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
✔️ Basic IT skills (email, scanning, Excel) are a plus.
✔️ Must hold a Food Hygiene Certificate or be willing to obtain one before starting.

Salary & Employment Details

💰 Salary Range: $1,600 – $2,200/month (Based on experience).
