Data Analyst
Work Dynamics - Integrated Facilities Management

About the role

You will be part of the data team in the client's Corporate Real Estate unit. The Data Analyst will provide end-to-end data analytic support and will partner with business and project leader to discover, analyse and process the data to develop analytic and data science solutions. This position empowers those with strong data analytic skill and theoretical understanding of advanced analytic algorithms to search and piece together all forms of data. The role have a possibility of conversion to permanent staff at the end of the term.

Responsibilities
Understand business requirements, leverage on internal and external data to provide analytical insights and solutions.

Define analytical strategy, problem statements, and hypothesis to address identified opportunities, identify gaps; including analytical approaches, data and technology requirements.

Work in a cross-functional AGILE manner with stakeholders in defining problem statements, collecting data and building analytical models to make suitable recommendations to drive business targets

Design, develop, and provide timely dashboard/MIS reports to help the pillar leads and management to drive their functions.

Review processes to automate and drive initiative to increase efficiency and productivity.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, or equivalent quantitative fields preferred. Strong mathematical and statistics background.

1-2 years of industry experience in data analytics in a big data environment. Fresh grads are welcome.

Highly proficient with data wrangling, analytic, transformation and feature engineering using programming tools such as Python, SQL , R or other statistical software.

Proficient in Tableau would be advantageous

Excellent data visualization and communication skills

Independent self-starter with ability to multitask, a curious mind, a team player and can-do attitude
