Perform waste recycling, chemical blending, filling of chemicals, loading/unloading of ISO-tankers, chemical sampling at various locations and packing of finish products. Computer entry and various production/warehousing activities.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
Operate, monitor and control batch manufacturing from system
Perform filling operation and packing of finished products
Perform loading and unloading of isotainer
Perform data entry of process parameters and inspection of operating equipment
Operate forklift for material handling of production materials
Perform light maintenance and housekeeping to maintain safe and clean working environment
Performs other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.
Qualifications And Experience
Nitec / Higher Nitec/ Diploma in Chemical Process Technology/ Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering /or similar discipline is preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in chemical manufacturing or related environment is preferred.
Ability to read, write and speak English to interpret technical documents, such as equipment manuals and P&ID.
Knowledge of safety protocols in chemical handling and processing.
Experience in control systems (DCS/SCADA).
Familiarity with Microsoft software and SAP system
Familirize in PLC operations
Additional Information
Comfortable performing 12-hour rotating shifts.
Be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
Responding to Emergencies in the Workplace.
Ability to be exposed to various chemicals and compounds including fumes and smells [Hazardous chemicals].
Require entering confined spaces and performing work in an elevated environment.
