As a Planning Executive, you will play a key role in managing and optimising the company's supply chain operations. You will be responsible for planning and executing production schedules, ensuring efficient inventory management, and overseeing warehouse operations to meet the company's production and customer service goals. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with various teams within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning:
Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of products while optimising resource utilisation.
Collaborate with the production team to monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet demand fluctuations.
Inventory Management
Implement inventory control processes to optimise stock levels, reduce carrying costs, and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
Regularly review and analyse inventory data to identify slow-moving or obsolete items and recommend appropriate actions.
Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of materials and components.
Warehouse Operations
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, incoming and outgoing shipments, and warehouse space utilisation.
Implement best practices for inventory storage, handling, and rotation to minimise losses and improve productivity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, procurement, quality control, and finance, to align supply chain operations with company objectives.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a smooth flow of information and materials throughout the supply chain.
Qualifications
Diploma/Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, business, or a related field.
Minimum of at least 1 to 2 years of experience in production planning, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
Proficiency in ERP systems and intermediate Excel skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in supply chain management.
