Procurement Assistant/Executive

Job Descriptions

  • Responsible for sourcing, negotiating and purchasing materials from both local and overseas suppliers.
  • Evaluate vendor's quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required.
  • Handle daily operational procurement needs such as planning, issuing and following up on purchase orders delivery and shipment schedules.
  • Liaise with Finance department to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices.
  • Develop strong and reliable relationship with vendors through active communication and keep company updated of changes.
  • Maintain ISO requirements.
  • Under the Workplace Safety & Health Act, employees have a duty to keep their workplace and colleagues safe by following safety and health procedures; reporting unsafe acts and incidents; and not tampering with safety devices or performing willful/reckless acts.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field with 1 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Good Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication, sourcing and negotiation skills.
  • Able to work well under pressure and tight timeline.
