We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Equine Workshop Trainer to lead engaging short workshops at our horse stable. This role involves sharing expert knowledge in horsemanship, horse handling, and stable maintenance with individuals eager to learn and connect with horses and animals. The ideal candidate will inspire participants through interactive, hands-on sessions that promote safe practices and a deep appreciation for equine care.
Key Responsibilities
Workshop Facilitation: Conduct workshops which are curated by the team. Utilize interactive teaching methods, including live demonstrations, hands-on activities, and group discussions to enhance learning.
Horsemanship & Animal Care: Provide expert guidance on understanding horse behavior and building trust with animals. Educate participants on daily stable routines such as grooming, feeding, proper handling techniques and etc. Emphasize safe and respectful interactions with horses.
Safety & Environment Management: Ensure all sessions are conducted in a safe, controlled, and supportive environment. Oversee workshop areas to maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness. Communicate and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents during workshops.
Participant Engagement & Support: Encourage questions and provide personalized feedback to help participants improve their skills. Adapt teaching strategies based on individual and group needs to ensure an effective learning experience. Gather participant feedback to continuously improve workshop content and delivery.
