Description
We are seeking a Warehouse Operator to support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling shipments, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving & InspectionUnload and load pallets from trucks or containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand carts.
Inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies based on checklists.
Verify and sign for inbound shipments, ensuring accurate receipt of goods.
Inventory ManagementMaintain accurate records of received and distributed goods.
Perform regular stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Warehouse OperationsMove, stack, and arrange goods efficiently using proper equipment.
Unpack shipments and weigh goods for appropriate packaging selection.
Pack, seal, and label items for distribution and shipping.
Safety & HousekeepingFollow all warehouse safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
Maintain clean and organized storage areas.
Requirements
Valid forklift license and experience operating warehouse equipment.
Prior experience in warehouse operations and inventory management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse management software.
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills and ability to read English instructions.
Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for long periods.
Working Environment
Work in various temperature-controlled zones:Ambient: 15 to 25°C Cold Storage: 2 to 8°C Freezer: -15 to -25°C (Protective gear provided: thermal jackets, gloves, etc.).
