Define the local market strategy regarding Sales of KL products and services Implement the regional business strategies in the territory; adapt the company’s global and regional strategy to the local market conditions
Develop and lead an efficient organization according to the needs of the company, market, consumers and customers
Recruit, train, develop, supervise, and motivate employees of the local office to ensure the company has a professional, experienced, skilled and motivated team capable of meeting the company's long-term objectives Establish compensation plans for employees of the local office in accordance with the company's general compensation policies
Adapt the local sales and marketing teams fitting the regional organizational structure; ensure that responsibilities, reporting lines and performance criteria for the referring employees are followed
Monitor the work of the local office team; set objectives and evaluate the performance of the team members; take part in non-standard cases resolution
Conform and control execution of the local office budget according to the regional and company budgeting policies and procedures
Establish and maintain effective communication with other company departments to ensure that cross-functional business processes are organized and performed efficiently and effectively
Promote the company, its brand, products, and its strategy in the territory Serve as a company’s leader and representative for local media, governments, professional and business communities Organize and monitor marketing activities in the territory to create market awareness of the company’s offerings and generate the demand for the company’s products achieving the maximum return on the investments in marketing
Develop channels of distribution of the company’s products in the territory, compose and propagate partner programs, oversee partner relationships, create and maintain partner community, cultivate and support partner loyalty in accordance with regional division policies and procedures
Guide and regulate the local office’s sales force, distribute sales practices and policies according to regional regulations to achieve maximum performance Follow established sales account management system, sales forecasting and reporting systems, track profitability of sales operations to meet the company’s regional and global standards Ensure the implementation of efficient customer relationship management
Contribute to the development of the territory strategy, as part of the territory management team with particular reference to the development of the company's business in the region
Works out the standards for optimal operating performance
Evaluates ways to improve operating performance, staff morale, social contribution and general governance
Requirements
Education
Completed degree (college/university) in Business Management
Courses in management, accounting, finance, and industrial relations
Or a combination of the completion of a Masters Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting and 7 years of experience in a leadership role for a medium division or company
Work experience
Minimum 7 years of experience in IT-Market
Minimum 5 years of experience in people management
Knowledge, skills and abilities
Functional knowledge and skills:
Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management. Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures. Experience in implementing new strategies and procedures. Ability to manage resources.
Strong analytical skills. Ability to analyze and interpret financial data. Knowledge of public relations principles and practices. Knowledge of communication and public relation techniques.
Ability to identify and secure funding/revenue sources.
Business expertise
At least 10 years professional experience in related field. Very well understanding of the market
Personal Skills
Strong skills and experience as a leader. An interest in people on both a personal and professional level, and strong leadership skills with an open but serious approach. Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects.
Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule and travel. Ability to work in a fast-paced, results and deadline driven environment.
Professional written and verbal communication (especially English) and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate and interact with officials at all levels of local government and to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
