Job Posting for Workshop & Store Executive at Keppel (Infrastructure Division)
Job Description
Setup and optimise layout & space management within the spare part warehouse.
Manage stock control: including receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of goods; shipment loading & transferring; document recording and data entry into system.
Plan, organise and control warehouse’s over-all operations.
Plan out all warehouse resources and activities in relation to company objectives and set targets.
Adhere to workplace’s health and safety requirements and take responsibility for the security of inventories.
Optimise warehouse operations according to company’s objective.
Manage inventory accuracy through monitoring of daily warehouse activities, cycle counts, stock takes and audit.
Ensure all material handling equipment and warehouse equipment/facilities undergo regular maintenance and available for usage.
Maintain sound material control management system to stock optimal level of spares as per recommendations.
Manage scrapped materials, hazardous materials and e-waste disposal in a timely manner
Additional tasks and responsibilities given by power plant management.
Job Requirements
Diploma in relevant field
At least 3 years of relevant working experience in process plant ideally in power station or petrochemical plant.
Knowledge on material used in operation and maintenance activities of combined cycle power plant.
Knowledge on material control and inventory management.
Knowledge in maintaining material usage records in CMMS & SAP.
Knowledge in handling hazardous/flammable materials.
