English Writing marker (Freelance)

• Specialise in Primary and Secondary School Paper 1 (Writing)

• At least 3 years of experience

• Must be highly proficient in marking compositions, essays and situational writing

• Must be able to give very detailed feedback for marking on grammar errors such as run-on sentences, comma splice mistakes, subject verb agreement etc.

• Must be able to give suggestions on how to rewrite poorly-written sections

• Must be able to give useful feedback on how to improve for draft 2

• Need to follow the marking rubrics and style of the centre after some on-the-job training

• Able to mark both soft copy (PDF) and hard copy

• Can work from home

• Flexible work hours
