Job Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and energetic Events Project Intern to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn about the event industry and gain hands-on experience in event project coordination, execution, and client support. As an Events Project Intern, you will assist in managing project timelines, supporting communication efforts with clients and vendors, and helping ensure smooth event execution. This internship offers the opportunity to develop valuable skills in project management, team collaboration, and the fast-paced world of event production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in coordinating and monitoring project timelines, schedules and deliverables.
• Support in the preparation of presentation decks and project materials.
• Help track project milestones and assist in ensuring deadlines are met.
• Attend client meetings and take notes, following up on any action items as directed.
• Liaise with vendors, contractors and internal teams to support event execution.
• Identify potential project risks and assist in problem-solving under supervision.
• Carry out administrative and project-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Events Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Good verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Organised, detail-oriented and willing to learn.
• Comfortable working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in the events or exhibitions industry is a plus!
