Load Test Technician

Why this role?

We are searching for a load test technician to handle the testing of no load/full load test for lift and escalator. In this role, you will be required to plan, conduct, and report on testing done as well as provide advice and feedback to relevant stakeholders.

What will you be doing?

• Testing products for safety, capacities, compliance, and performance according to BCA requirement for Permit-To-Operate Renewal (PTO).
• Examining and investigating specific aspects and components of products.
• Compiling reports on findings and testing data gathered.
• Providing recommendations and advice to relevant stakeholders.
• Implementing changes in testing protocols as required.
• Consulting with senior management about testing results.
• Reporting any issues through the appropriate channels.
• Recommending technical and procedural additions to test processes.

Are you the one?

• Experience from customer service.
• Excellent understanding of relevant BCA legislation along with impeccable report-writing and verbal communication abilities.
• Prior experience of elevator/escalator industry is an asset, especially in annual/no load/full load test for PTO renewal.
• Possess relevant education/working experience from Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Vertical Transportation is a plus.
• Possess Work-At-Height/Certificate of Competency is a plus.
• Willing to work in a variety of locations and flexible to perform duties at night if required.
